A superb wine - perfectly blended to create a seamless, deep and complex blend with silky tannins and excellent cellaring potential. A selection of thirteen vineyards sourced from a diverse spread of sub regions ranging from near Williamstown in the far south to Ebenezer in the far north of the Barossa are utilised. Vineyards are concentrated in the far south and north of the Barossa Valley to drive the style required for St Hugo. The diversity of this fruit sourcing is to achieve the 'power' from low yielding, mature Shiraz vines and 'elegant' parcels from vineyards showing more restraint and structure.

Stables Cabernet Sauvignon is medium bodied with a soft round palate of blackcurrant and dark plum fruits with a hint of coffee and spice.

Stables Chardonnay has a textured palate with ripe citrus, stone fruit and toasty oak.

Stables Merlot has a warm, soft, rounded palate with delicious ripe plum and spice flavours.

Stables Pinot Gris has a textured palate with ripe pear and tropical fruit flavours.

Stables Pinot Noir has a soft, supple palate with ripe red cherry and strawberry flavours.

Stables Sauvignon Blanc has fresh flavours of tropical fruit and gooseberry with a herbal edge.

Stables Shiraz has generous flavours of pepper, dark berries and plums all beautifully integrated with soft, velvety tannins and spice.
